It’s still pretty quiet in central but Selfridges has eased back into business by re-opening its Foodhall. There’s fresh produce from the greengrocer, fismonger, bakery and butcher; new food boxes (meat, fish, fruit & veg) and make-you-own pizza, pasta and bread kits; and household and pharmacy items available to shop.

As well as complying with strict social distancing and health & safety measures, including reduced hours, limited numbers in the store at once, a one-way system and protective screens at the tills, NHS, health and social care workers can also get free car parking and speedy access to the Foodhall. Selfridges is also running the Kindness Challenge, where customers can nominate someone who’s done a good deed to win a fridge full of food.
