Cardion Arts, a not-for-profit organisation that champions LGBTQIA+ artists, is returning to the Institute of Contemporary Arts for a second edition of Cardion Nights: Queer Performance. The event will feature new work by the likes of Wet Mess, Nando Messias, Travis Alabanza, Adam Christensen and Emily Pope, including a performance piece involving two freaks and a shipping trolley and audiovisual vignettes considering the economy through the lens of satirical memoir. LA -based artist machine will also be selling their handcrafted t-shirts and other queer merch on the night. As well as celebrating queer creativity, Cardion Nights is also raising money for akt, the only UK charity dedicated to supporting young queer and trans people experiencing homelessness.
