See Into the Future of Food at This Festival in Regent Street and St James’s

Find out just what’ll be on our plates in years to come

Who said you need a crystal ball to see into the future? Regent Street and St James’s are partnering up once again to give us a glimpse into 2025 and beyond with the Future of Food. The month-long festival is back for another year to look at how chefs, restaurateurs and food producers are using sustainability and creativity to shape what we eat.

The Discovery Zone at St James’s Market is at the heart of this year’s festival; it’s free to attend and is open daily for walk-ins, so pop by to explore the foods of the future via taste, smell and touch. You’ll be able to experience sustainable food trends such as insects, seaweed & algae, lab-grown, hydroponics, and fungi with a little help from the likes of Square Mile Farms, Flavour Fred, Yum Bug and Gosnell’s, and learn about how we’ll all have a role to play in the future of food. There’ll also be a donation point in the Discovery Zone where you can support the Future of Food’s charity partner The Felix Project, which delivers surplus food to charities and schools across London.

As well as a range of ticketed events, such as workshops, chef demos, talks and tastings, there are a range of exclusive Always Happening experiences running across Regent Street and St James’s for the duration of the festival. You can save on your bills at O’ver, Gouqi, Heddon Yokocho and Masala Zone; get £10 dishes at selected restaurants; score 20% off pudding masterclasses at Sauce by The Langham and more, so there’s plenty to sink your teeth into during the Future of Food.
