Secret Garden Party have gone and announced their phase 2 line-up, adding to the already stellar cast and crew booked to play in Huntingdon’s finest landscaped garden in the East of England during the heady height of this Summer’s festival season.
The excellent Maya Jane Coles, Foxes, Kwabs, Gorgon City, MO and David Rodigan, amongst others, are pitching up to play alongside Little Dragon, Clean Bandit and Jagwa Ma for what promises to be a weekend you can most certainly lose yourself to dance to.
SGP have, in its twelfth year, adopted a “Yellow Brick Road” theme encouraging festival lovers to click their heels and head to any one of its 14 stages where you can indulge in the diverse array of music culture SGP have laid on to captivate and hold your visual sonic focus.
Last year’s SGP highlights saw the Disclosure brothers, Guy and Howard Lawrence performing ‘Latch’ alongside soul man Sam Smith and the serial stage crasher Jarvis Cocker bombing the Dewaele Brothers much anticipated 2ManyDJ’s set. SGP have guaranteed us some serious shenanigans at this year’s bash and we doubt they’ll disappoint.
With boutique camping and a fine dining restaurant on site, saunas, spas and a wide spectrum of alternative activities taking place, including guerilla science experiments, parades, theatre performances and art exhibitions, the weekend is bound to be a wonderfully weird one, but you know, when the going gets weird, the weird turn PRO.
