may have today unveiled a pretty stellar line up for this year’s Somerset festival but East Englia’s Secret Garden Party people should prepare to Bring the Noise as SGP organisers announce legendary hip hop crew, Public Enemy, as part of their Phase 2 line up. Chuck D, Flavour Flav and fam are getting ready to head to the Huntingdon massive to assault your ears with what will no doubt be a stirling set of renowned and revolutionary rap lyrics and hip hop beats.

Diehard house fans need not sweat however as SGP have also booked up the New York based house collective and dance revivalists, Hercules and Love Affair who will be performing off of the back of their soon to be released second album “The Feast of a Broken Heart”. This will be their second SGP festival appearance with main man and DJ Andy Butler stating “We played to a raging audience, that WENT FOR IT the first time there and I made my mind up. I wanted to go back”.


SGP, billed as a festival that celebrates all that rejects the hyper-capitalist dream, have chosen their acts wisely, fighting the commercial powers that be by securing an eclectically diverse line up, having booked up some big hitting headliners, they’ve also added a plethora of other artists including Rae Morris, Alabama 3, Longy and Plump DJs, the list goes on….so get your Garden Party glad rags ready…this year is going to go OFF.
