Secret Cinema is known for putting on epic immersive film screenings, which obviously now can’t be done under the lockdown rules, so now the team is turning it over to you with the new Secret Sofa series. Each Friday night for the next eight weeks there’ll be an in-home screening of a film chosen by Secret Cinema, with character narratives, costume suggestions, prop-making ideas, food and drink suggestions, order codes for Häagen-Dazs (with flavours chosen each week to match the film) and more supplied ahead of time via the Secret Sofa newsletter, so you can create your own immersive production.
Secret Sofa kicks off with Wes Anderson’s The Grand Budapest Hotel (one of our all-time FAVES and one of the first SC events we went to!) , which has been matched with strawberry cheesecake ice cream, so sign up if you wanna get involved.
