The immersive event specialists are pulling out all the stops for Wishmas: A Fantastical Christmas Adventure
Secret Cinema is returning this December for a one-off Christmas edition, Wishmas, which will centre around the question: ‘Where do all your wishes go?’. This new production comes from Creative Director Elgiva Field, who has previously worked as the Associate Director of Punchdrunk and Theatre-rites. The immersive experience will launch in Waterloo this November and will be running for the entire holiday season, with tickets from £29 available now.
The brand new, original story will start off with a trip to ‘London’s Old Bauble Factory’, underneath Waterloo Station, after which guests will be taken on a snow-sprinkled journey watching wishes make their way to Wishmas. There’ll be whimsical ‘Wishmas Robins’, mysterious ‘Wishkeepers’, portals to new realms and the chance to meet Santa Claus himself. Plus, there’ll be a Wishmas Market at the end, where you can fill up on festive treats and drinks, and stock up on Christmas gifts.
The fully immersive walkthrough experience lasts 60 minutes overall. If you’re looking for some festive fun in London this year and fancy an alternative to your annual trip to Winter Wonderland, make a stop at Waterloo (sorry, Wishmas) Station.
