SEAFOOD BOILS ARE COMING TO SOHO AS ANGRY CRAB SHACK LANDS ON OUR SHORES

We’ve already had New England-style seafood come across the pond with the arrival of Saltie Girl from Boston and next on the list is Cajun seafood boils courtesy of Angry Crab Shack. The US chain, which was started by former NFL player Ron Lou in Arizona and now boasts 19 sites in America, with more on the way, is coming to London for its first international outpost.

Seafood boils are at the heart of the Angry Crab shack experience and they’ve put their own twist on it by mixing in Asian flavours with the traditional Cajun seasonings. You can customise your boil by choosing the seafood (shrimp, crawfish, king crab, lobster, clams and more), the sauces (like garlic, Cajun and lemon pepper), the spice level (it ranges from mild to the order-at-your-own-risk ridiculously hot), and the extras (like sausage, corn on the cob and red potato), and it all gets tipped on the table for you to tuck into.

If you don’t fancy getting messy, the menu also includes the likes of chowder, gumbo, jambalaya, shrimp & grits, fried oyster po’boys, catfish, and crab cake sandwiches, and we’d be expecting a fair few of those to make the trip over to London too.

Opens early 2023
