If you’re a whisky fan, this is one tasting you won’t wanna miss. The Scotch Malt Whisky Society is celebrating its 35th anniversary and in honour of the occasion, long-time collaborator and world-renowned whisky author Charles MacLean has selected 21 new single cask bottlings for SMWS members around the world, with all the tasting notes written by him. And he’s hosting an exclusive preview tasting in the atmospheric Crypt of St Etheldreda’s Church in Hatton Garden, so you can be amongst the first to try them out. The event includes welcome drinks followed by a five dram tasting, with artisan cheese and charcuterie on offer to complement the whisky, and you can bag earlybird tickets right now.
