Festival season is well and truly back this year and not just music ones but food ones too. And there’s a brand new food fest rolling into town as Savour sets up shop at Royal Hospital Cheslea this July. A whole host of London restaurants, including Frenchie, Polpo, Sumosan Twiga, and the Salt Yard Group, will be there cooking up a storm, with each of the chefs also creating a £3 signature dish giving festivalgoers the chance to vote for their fave across the weekend.
Mob Kitchen will also be opening their first ever dine-in pop-up veggie restaurant at the festival, with the likes of Thomas Straker and MasterChef finalist Philli Armitage Matten doing chef demos using gear from Gozney, Vintoeca hosting wine tastings, and Maison Mirabeau running a rosé station. Of course it’s not really a festival without some music, so there’ll also be live bands (including from the Royal British Legion) to keep you entertained as you get stuck into all that food and drink.
