SAUSAGE PRESS IS BACK AT LOWER STABLE STREET MARKET AND SOME FRIENDS ARE COMING ALONG TOO

Fry-up fans, natural wine lovers and sarnie obsessives, listen up because we’ve got a very important announcement to make

Sausage Press is returning to Lower Stable Street Market for the first weekend in September and this time, we’re bringing some friends along for the ride. Sausage Press is our series of print guides that showcase the top tier, absolute best of the best food and drink spots in the city, and so far we’ve shown you where to get a bangin’ brekkie, the hottest spots pouring low-intervention wine and where to find the best things between bread. Now you’ll be able to shop the full range of guides in person at our pop-up stall at the market, and you’ll also be able to order all the prints and merch your walls and wardrobes desire.

We’ll be selling all the Sausage Press goodies from Fri 1st – Sun 3rd of September at Lower Stable Street Market, which is known for supporting small businesses across food, drinks, crafts, homeware, art, clothing zines and more. On top of that, it regularly runs guest-curated markets like Record Fairs and the pan-Asian Shotengai Market, throughout the year, and it’s also the UK’s first B-Corp certified market. And here’s who’ll be joining us on each day of the market:

Fri 1st September | SMUG

SMUG crisps are here to shake up the snacking game with hyped flavours and branding you won’t be forgetting in a hurry. These hand-fried crisps currently come in cacio e pepe flavour – yes they really do taste like it – and the packaging is also fully compostable, so there really is every reason to be smug.

Sat 2nd & Sun 3rd September | Yang’s Noods

When she’s not deep in design work, Vicky Yang is hand-pulling spicy dried noodles for Yang’s Noods. The golden yellow noodles come in a range of spicy flavours, including lemongrass, scotch bonnet, Korean miso, and Chinese five spice, and they’re the perfect way to pimp up your meals.

Sun 3rd September | Fat Crush

Fat Crush is a serious wine that doesn’t take itself too seriously. Made from ethically sourced and crushed unoaked Chardonnay and Viognier grapes from the Languedoc region of France, this juicy wine is the ultimate all-rounder. Affordable and accessible, it’ll see you through every scenario from spontaneous drinks to dinner parties to special occasions.
