We’re still riding a big wine bar wave here in London and when its places like Finley’s that open, we’re not mad about it. Founded by Sia Smith, the Hoxton spot stands out from the crowd thanks to its focus on products from women-made businesses. All about celebrating the diversity of the local community, Finley’s stocks an ever-changing range of wines from female winemakers, like Little Frances and Vins Et Volailles, and with sommelier Eleonora Kausinyte (of Maison François and Brat) in charge of the list, you know you’re in good hands.
And now you can taste some of the bangers they’ve got on the bottle list at a very spesh Saucy Skins wine tasting evening at Finley’s. The team will be taking you through five of their fave skin contact wines – think saucy orange fun in a bottle – with generous pours served alongside a spread of nibbles including cheese, meats, bread, olives and vegan treats.
