American brand Saucony has got some serious history when it comes to sneakers. Founded in 1898, not long after the first Boston Marathon and the first Olympic Marathon, they started out producing proper running shoes before really kicking up production in the 1980s, creating classic styles like the Jazz, the DXN (in homage to Rod Dixon’s NYC Marathon win ion 83) and the Shadow.
Now they’re bringing back those vintage vibes with their Originals collection, remixing those old silhouettes with new materials, new technology (like shock absorbing mid-soles and breathable mesh) and new colourways, and they even have vegan-friendly styles too. The range is the perfect blend of retro and modern, form and function.
