Sarah Jessica Parker will star alongside her husband Matthew Broderick in a new production of Plaza Suite
Fresh off the sets of Sex and the City revival And Just Like That, Sarah Jessica Parker will be coming to London this January for a run as Karen Nash, Muriel Tate, and Norma Hubley in Neil Simon’s Plaza Suite. And her offstage husband (and two-time Tony Award winner) Matthew Broderick will be playing her onstage husband(s), Sam Nash, Jesse Kiplinger, and Roy Hubley, in this classic comedy about love and marriage.
Plaza Suite follows three couples as they navigate the highs and lows of their lives together. Karen and Sam are a long-married couple trying to save their relationship; Muriel and Jesse are former high school sweethearts; Norma and Roy are parents of the bride attempting to coax their daughter out of the bathroom.
The production was a hit on Broadway, having had a box office record-breaking 19-week run at the Hudson Theatre. Now it’s anticipating similar success in London’s theatre district and is set to spend 10 weeks at the Savoy Theatre in the new year.
