Santa Maria already slings some of the best pizza in town but now they’re getting into the pub game by teaming up with Edin Basic, founder of Firezza to open A Slice of Blue in Clapton. It’s being billed as a space where you can eat pizza, drink craft beer and listen to fine music.
Obvs Santa Maria will be taking care of the pizzas, so you can expect the likes of the Santa Filippo (tomato sauce, mozzarella, peppers, courgettes, aubergines & parmesan), the San Guiseppe (smoked mozzarella, rare breed Yorkshire sausage, wild broccoli & parmesan) and the Santa Matilde (pumpkin cream base, smoked mozzarella, ‘nduja & rare breed Yorkshire sausage).
East London breweries will feature heavily across the beer selection, with guest beers on rotation, and the music will come from singers, rappers, poets and DJs, so there’ll be something for everyone.
