The brand’s (Im)perfect Yaks Sale is coming to London
Following a successful first event in London last year, socially and environmentally conscious brand Lucy & Yak, known for its signature dungarees and joyful prints, is returning to the capital with one of the best sample sales in London. Taking over Copeland Park in Peckham for four days this March, the (Im)perfect Yaks Sale will feature a range of pieces, including samples and old faves, that have minor issues or defects but are still totally wearable.
The purpose behind the sale, which is running from Thursday 6th to Sunday 9th March is to keep clothes in circulation, which aligns perfectly with Lucy & Yak’s sustainable ethos – all of the brand’s products are made with organic, recycled or deadstock fabrics. And the sale will be restocked daily so you don’t have to worry about all the good bits disappearing on the first day.
It’ll be a cashless sale and there are no returns, refunds or exchanges available but there will be both individual and communal changing rooms, so you will be able to try things on before you buy. Lucy & Yak will also be running its PreLoved buyback scheme at the sale, so you can return any Lucy & Yak product in exchange for a discount code of up to £20 to spend (this also applies to online and in-store shopping aside from the sample sale). The brand then either resells, repairs or recycles the returned products, helping to reduce waste.
You’ll wanna bring your own bags along to the sale, otherwise it’s £1 for an organic cotton tote, and be prepared to queue as this one’s gonna be popular!
