SALON SPY | YOUNG LDN
Young LDN, recently opened in Westbourne Grove, is a salon designed with millennials and generation Z in mind with its cool decor, technology-led treatments and all round fun vibes. Young LDN’s founder Sue first decided to open the salon when she realised that London lacked a salon dedicated to teenagers, where they could discuss issues around acne and beauty with ease. Not only can they get treated professionally by the experts at Young LDN, they can also find some of the hottest beauty brands on the market all under one roof. That said, the salon also knows that being young is a state of mind and not just a number so it’s open to all.
Although Young LDN offer a wide range of beauty treatments, we thought we would head there to try The 60 facial at the Peel Bar. The clue’s in the name as this facial lasts for 60 minutes, and the main aim is to sculpt, lift and tighten the face without using surgical procedures. The lift uses 3-in-1 radio frequency, vacuum suction, and chromotherapy technology. This combination of these three techniques boosts the collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid production in your face. This facial is ideal if you are wanting to improve your skin care, got a big night out ahead or just fancy some good old TLC. Although it does lift and tighten the face it’s worth noting that it’s suitable for all skin types and ages, with the aesthetician using their experience to cater it to your specific individual needs.
The 60 facial costs £150 but we all know fitting beauty appointments into a hectic schedule can be tough, so for those who can’t dedicate an hour of their time Young LDN also offer 20 minute and 40 minute facials too at £45 and £70 apiece.
