salon spy: the drawing room

We urge you to step inside The Drawing Room! A Georgian townhouse where you’ll find a refreshingly disarming approach to top notch hairdressing. Located a stones throw away from Spitalfields Market, the converted townhouse dates back to 1750 and is as charming as you’d expect with crooked staircases and unusual spaces. Though it has been brought up to date with contemporary design and bespoke furniture, keeping all the original feature in tact and on show of course.

Made to feel at home with an espresso martini we knew we were in safe hands. Luckily for us, in charge of our mop top was the man behind looks for Florence Welch, Cara Delevigne and Miles Kane. What we liked most about their approach is that they take time to understand your desired look and how that fits into your lifestyle. You’re an individual! YES! Down the staircase for a wash and head massage we were then sat in the window back on the ground floor watching the word go by with cocktail in hand – we could of been on holiday. The results, well we can’t fault them and with the credentials and experience these guys have we were bound to be impressed.
