been on some mammoth flights lately but this is one plane we don’t mind spending some quality time in. MW Nails is a nail salon located in the heart of Spitalfields which is decked out with ex-American Airlines Boeing 737 furniture, everything from the seats you sit on to the tables used to store the products in comes from the airplane graveyard, even the staff are dressed in trolley dolly style uniforms and the treatments are all named after destinations.

We went along to try out the Rapid Rio, a 20 minute treatment which involves shaping nails, cutting cuticles, a buff, polish and moisturiser. The salon uses OPI and Essie products two of our favourite nail varnish brands and there is a huge selection of colours to choose from. We went for a deep purple and left with glossy, healthy looking talons. The Rapid Rio clocks in at £19 which is great value we just wish flying to Rio was this cheap and fast.
