Live True London is a salon brand aiming to allow their clients the opportunity to explore with their hair in a down-to-earth environment. Their team of stylists and colourists are passionate about living true to yourself and expressing it through your hair.
There’s four salons under the Live True umbrella, which are mainly spread across South London, but they have recently opened a new site in the heart of Soho. Located just off Oxford Street, it’s a large salon covering two floors. Inside you’ll find exposed brick walls, furniture made from reclaimed wood and timber, and open light wells, all in a bid to improve the company’s sustainability. There’s even a VIP booth where you can book in to get a hair appointment with your bestie, ideal for birthdays and big celebrations.
You’re in safe hands when visiting their Soho branch, as many of the staff working there have worked at other Live True salons and gone through the company’s extensive training. The salon is known for its colouring, especially balayage, which they do by using freehand and foil techniques. We weren’t feeling as experimental and were in desperate need of some TLC when we visited, so decided to go with a cut and blow-dry along with their New Year Hair Reboot experience. This involved an Olaplex treatment with our cut, which gave us back some of the condition and with some of the old length gone, our hair had a new lease of life – we defo got the results we hoped for from our pre-cut consultation.
Live True Soho is a great salon to pop in for a treatment and ideal for a pre-night out pamper before hitting the streets of Soho.
