Created by Dr. Zarifa Hamzayeva, Gazelli is a skincare brand and wellness centre that was established in Azerbaijan before coming to London in 2015. Gazelli House in South Kensington is a beaut space, which feels more like a home than a salon, offering massages, hair and scalp treatments, acupuncture and hypnotherapy as well as a range of facials.
Typically they do bespoke 60-minute facials involving individual diagnostics and tailored products but for those of us who are short on time (aren’t we all!), their Skin Fix 30 treatments are the way to go. These facials are specially designed to address a specific skin concern in just half an hour. We went in for the Pro Radiance; an intensive treatment that refreshes and renews the skin through exfoliation. Basically, it gets rid of all that lovely London dirt and grime without making your face feel stripped.
After a cleanse, a combo of acids are used as a light peel – there is some tingling as the acids are applied but it’s really quite minimal – whilst oxygen is sprayed over your face to get it working even faster. This is followed by a face mask, and whilst this sinks in, the therapist gets to work with a shoulder and neck massage before the last bits of product are removed. Everything that’s used during the facial is from Gazelli’s own range, which contains its magic White Oil, and it all smells DIVINE.
[easy-image-collage id=106586]Even in such a short time frame your skin really does look brighter and thanks to the pressure work you do genuinely manage to relax, so it’s doesn’t feel like a quick in-and-out job. You can even just swing by the house to buy products or for a cup of tea…now that’s our kinda salon.
