SALON SPY | CECILIA LONDON GLOW FACIAL

Having spent the last six weeks in Asia, quite literally sweating my nut off, my skin was in dire need of some serious attention. Sweat + sun cream + open pores does not equal a glowing face, that’s for sure, which is why I was keen to try the Cecilia London Glow Facial.

Cecilia London is less a spa and more a one-woman-band, located in a room in a kind of communal treatment room space in Monument – think We Work for therapists. The facial itself is the reason to visit and whilst the first half is not really that relaxing (painful extractions are plentiful), the second half, which included a massage and LED light mask, sent me to sleep. All the products used in the facial are vegan and there’s definitely a bit of stinging – I thought my nose and chin would be red raw afterwards but the mask and LED light therapy meant I didn’t leave with a beaming red bonce.

Two days later and my skin feels super clean, so much so that I can go out without any make-up…ok eye bag whitening does count, no amount of creams are gonna get rid of those bad boys with this lifestyle. My face is looking the best it has in years and I’ll definitely be returning!
