But our face also needs some attention (the Christmas breakout is real) as no one wants to start the year with bad skin. That’s where the Aqua3 facial comes in. New to the UK, the Aqua3 is the ideal hangover fixing facial. It uses deep diamond microdermabrasion to mend your skin and leave your face with a refreshing glow. We went down to skin specialist salon BEAU:TI in Oval to give it a go.
The treatment involves the use of three individual handpieces and a combination of acids. The first is a water-based peel with sequential acids, used with a vacuum to remove all those impurities including dead skin cells, blackheads and whiteheads. The second piece of equipment is the mesoporation handpiece, which uses hyaluronic acid and Dermakleb serums to restructure and oxygenate your tissue making sure it’s fully moisturised. Finally, the Diamond-Grain hand piece is used to exfoliate, working wonders on stretch marks, acne scarred and thickened skin.
If your face needs a little TLC, the Aqua3 facial is well worth a go but if you’ve got more specific skin concerns, like anti-ageing and stretch marks, you can get a more specialised treatment.
