Andy Sadiq has been doing hair for over twenty years and with clients including Frank Lampard, Hugh Jackman and Maria Sharapova, you know you’ll be in safe hands. Located in Wimbledon Village, the two-floor spot features a white-washed salon upstairs with exposed brick walls, lots of natural light and floor-to-ceiling mirrors, as well as a hidden haven downstairs which has you covered for all your skincare needs. Oh, and there’s even an outdoor treatment garden where you can have your blow-dry and beauty treatments throughout the year.
We popped in for a post-summer trim and after one look at our locks, Andy knew exactly what was needed. Our dry ends were gone, we had shape like we hadn’t seen in a long time and a blow-dry to beat all other blow-dries, seriously bouncy and zhuzhed up, but completely natural looking too. Think expert drying, a man who knows how to work the brush and minimal use of hairspray – the Holy Trinity of a good blow-dry. And if your hair is need of some extra TLC, the team at Andy’s can also sort you out with balayage, colour, Keratin smoothing and personalised hair treatments.
Sometimes heading to a new salon or stylist can feel intimidating, but for any newbies out there, there’s truly nowhere better than Andy’s Salon. Friendly, personalised and pleasingly unpretentious, this is defo a South London hidden hair gem.
