RUDY’S PIZZA TO OPEN IN SOHO

It seems the city is riding another pizza wave; first we had news of Mike’s and then 081 Pizzeria, both opening in Peckham, and now Manchester-based Rudy’s Pizza is heading south and opening in Soho, taking over the old Wahaca site on Wardour Street. Rudy’s, which first opened in Ancoats in 2015, has been a huge hit up north – it’s known as one of, if not the best, place for pizza in Manchester and has also expanded to Liverpool, Leeds and Birmingham. It serves up traditional Neapolitan-style pizzas, with the likes of marinara, margherita, salame, tarantina (anchovies, olives & capers) and ancozzese (white pizza with sausage & friarielli) on the menu alongside antipasti sharing boards, tiramisu and affogato.

Rudy’s is opening at the end of June and to celebrate the move down south, the team is giving away 10,000 FREE pizzas – all you gotta do to be in with a chance of nabbing one is sign up to their newsletter here.
