of our longtime readers may remember earlier this year when we broke the news on Ruby’s, the new drinking den in Dalston. Well nearly a year had passed and the bar is settled into its surrounds having fast become a must visit on the Hackney cocktail scene.

To keep things fresh and mark the end of summer the bar has come up with a new Autumn menu of seven cocktails – we tried all seven in one go, naturally. Our favourites included the Mizuwari – which may sound like a japanese car but it’s actually a killer whisky cocktail with plum infused choys umeshu and plum bitters and the Stokey 76 with sloe gin, cointreau, lemon juice and prosseco.

And don’t worry all you die hard fans the Blackberry Mojito in the milk bottle ain’t going nowhere. Well worth a visit this winter season.
