The first Amapiano stage is coming to Notting Hill Carnival this year courtesy of Rough But Sweet, Hennessy, and Amapiano collective Piano People. Since the last in-person Carnival two years ago, Amapiano, a style of house music that originated in South Africa, has blown up in popularity and now it’ll be blasting out of Hazelwood Crescent on Carnival Sunday. Piano People have put together a secret special guest line-up, with live performances happening throughout the day, and you’ll be kept well fed and watered too with a Hennessy bar and food from Jollof Mama.
