ROTISSERIE FUSION SPOT ROTORIOUS OPENS IN PECKHAM

The first brick-and-mortar site from two rotisserie chicken fanatics, brothers Adam and Sam Reid, has launched at Market Stalls in Peckham. Rotorious opened in July with a menu of mains, sides and sauces, all with rotisserie chicken at the centre. Really setting them apart, however, is Adam and Sam’s signature rub, which they’ve been honing over ten years of BBQing in their backyard. Their chicken takes inspiration from tropical spices rather than the classic French method and is self-basted throughout cooking to ensure it’s supremely juicy and full of flavour.

Right now, expect the likes of loaded Rotorious Fries, Chicken Subs and a Chicken Salad Box trimmings on the menu, with every dish served with free spicy chicken gravy and homemade ‘Peckham Punisher’ pineapple and scotch bonnet hot sauce. They also plan on expanding with new dishes such as tangy porchetta and spiced lamb soon to be added to the list. Drinks-wise, there’s a selection of classic cocktails, Beavertown beer on draft and soft drinks too. The vibe is laid back, with the spot being in a communal market-style dining area, but you can book ahead if you want a guaranteed place. Rotorious could be Peckham’s newest high-flyer, head over to find out for yourself.
