Roti King and Morley’s are linking up for what might be the most London pop-up of the month
Bossman Mamak lands in Brixton Village from 9th – 12th April, bringing Malaysian night-market cooking together with South London’s fried chicken royalty for one very limited run.
Roti King started out in Euston serving some of the city’s best roti canai, while Morley’s has spent the past 40 years becoming less of a chicken shop and more of a cultural institution. Now they’re meeting in the middle with a menu that looks chaotic in the best way. On it you’ve got:
- Wings & Nasi Lah – nasi goreng with three Morley’s wings, sambal and a fried egg
- Boss, Ayam Dua! – Morley’s two-piece chicken with fries dusted in Roti King spice and a peanut sauce dip
- Sedap Wrap – Morley’s chicken tenders stuffed into roti canai with achar salad
- KL Dirty Fries topped with shiitake mushroom rendang, spring onions and red chillies
There’ll also be limited-edition tote bags and caps on sale across the weekend, which should give you something to hold while you queue.
