Once
upon a time East London food writer Rosie Birkett met Spanish chef José Pizarro and they decided to cook up a literary storm. Taking inspiration from Shakespeare’s classics, as well as José and Rosies’ favourite Spanish and English ingredients, the pair have decided to host a five course literary supper club. The storybook menu is a real page turner and will include English asparagus with jamón and manchego, peas with chorizo migas and a golden fried egg, prawn fritters with chilli and saffron aioli, mussels and cockles in escabeche and baked crab. All to be finished off with a slice of Rosie’s cherry pie. So if you want to see how the story unfolds at only £30 for five courses and a complimentary drink, it’s a bloody bargain and really one not to miss.Get Tickets
