RONNIE SCOTT’S TO LAUNCH POP-UP JAZZ CLUB

Ronnie Scott’s is turning 60 this year and as part of the birthday celebrations, the iconic venue is launching a pop-up jazz club called The Old Place at Gerry’s Club on Dean Street. Open for just two weeks, The Old Place will be a replica of the original Ronnie Scott’s, complete with flat boards, artwork and photos, and with audio memories playing as you step inside, so you can experience what it was like when the doors first opened back in 1959.

Obviously, there’ll be lots of jazz to catch too with homages to Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Dizzie Gillespie, Stan Tracey and Wes Montgomery from guest musicians and the Ronnie Scott’s All Stars, with two shows a night throughout the two weeks.

See what other pop-ups are popping up right here.
