The
Rolling Stones have been going for 50 years, I know, they look almost double that. Regardless of their wrinkles or the fact the Richard’s tried to glue his own nose back together they still have their own hair and continue to deliever a spectacular live show. The exhibition will be held at the East Wing Galleries in Somerset House and will look back through the last half century, since the Stones first took to the stage at The Marquee Club in London’s Oxford Street. With unseen and rare material, this one-off exhibition will include over seventy prints ranging from reportage photography, live concerts and studio session images, to contact sheets, negative strips and outtakes from every period of the band’s history… Its also FREE, yep, wild horses couldn’t drag us away now.13 July – 27 Aug 10.00am -18.00pm
