Rogues London, the pop-up restaurant run by chefs Freddie Sheen and Zac Whittle (who met at Galvin La Chapelle), have popped up at Parlour in Kensal Rise and Well Street Kitchen in Hackney, and after a stint as a delivery service during lockdown, they’re back in East London for another residency. This time they’re taking over the kitchen at Hackney Coffee Company for three months, serving up a sharing plates and tasting menus on weeknights and five-course brunches on the weekends.
The menus will change according to what produce is available, especially as the pair are trying to be as sustainable as possible, but you can expect dishes like roasted corn, red miso & mushroom tart; roast Harlequin pumpkin with parmesan, sage & chestnut; and sea trout, Alsace bacon, spring vegetables and girolles. You might come in for a coffee but with a menu like that you’ll defo be staying for dinner.
