RITU SEASONS OF INDIA TO OPEN IN ST JOHN’S WOOD

First it was Bibi, the new Mayfair-based Indian restaurant from JKS, and now another interesting Indian spot is coming to the capital this summer. Restaurateur Anubhav Srivastava and ex-Benares chef Navin Prasad are teaming up to open Ritu Seasons of India in St John’s Wood, where Yasmeen Kitchen used to be. As the name suggests, the seasons will form the main inspo for the place, with both the decor and the food drawing on the six seasons India experiences, from high summer heat to monsoon rain.

The menu will include traditional Indian dishes reimagined especially for the restaurant, with dishes like lotus stem chaat, Mumbai classic bread rolls, naga chicken skewers, dhunar murgh and kacchi mirchi ka gosht. St John’s Wood isn’t exactly the biggest foodie hotspot so it sounds like Ritu is gonna be an interesting new addition to NW8.

Opens July 2021
