Much-loved Hackney restaurant Rita’s is coming back and not too far from where the original site was (which is now Carte Blanche). WOOP. Gabriel Pryce and Missy Flynn are taking over the kitchen at Redchurch Brewery in Cambridge Heath, which has got an extra seating space next to the open kitchen. The menu will change regularly but expect dishes like Thai spiced sardine crostini, clay pot cumin chile aubergine, Swaledale lamb with roast tomato and jalapeno ranch greens, and the famous Rita’s green mac & cheese and patty melt. Obvs as it’s in a brewery there’ll be lots of beer to drink but you’ll also have a short cocktail and wine list. Welcome back Rita’s, we’ve missed you!
