a new fried chicken place coming to Stoke Newington High Street! That’s all we need is what you’re thinking. Well you are right, but these guys come with the idea of showing you, the punter that fried chicken ain’t just something that comes in a red cardboard box and is eaten on buses whilst intoxicated. It can be a meal to die for, not because of. Not only will they serve fried chicken, or fried chicken & waffles as they have it, you will also find shrimp rolls, pulled pork with duck heart baked beans, soy & ginger hot wings, patty melts and their hotly tipped ox-heart tacos.

Rita’s is the new joint at 33-35 Stoke Newington Road and is the mastermind behind the popular Brunswick House Café, opening this Friday the 13th from 6pm, Tuesday to Saturday with the aim of expanding to day time in the coming weeks. The menu has got our attention alright and we’re certainly not worried about this becoming another KFC copy cat, will the real fried chicken please stand up!
