Chef Thomas Straker (formerly of Elystan Street and Casa Cruz) is opening his first restaurant Acre this year, and he’s giving us a little preview of what to expect with his Right Then pop-up at Carousel. Inspired by the opening line he uses for his recipe vids on Instagram, Right Then will see him cook up a different dish each weekend, with the likes of potato gnocchi with beef & pork ragu, pici cacio e pepe, fried plaice milk bun with hispi cabbage & smoked sriracha, and nduja & wild garlic sourdough pizza on the cards. A new menu will be announced each week with a batch of £15 tickets going on sale on Wednesdays at 10am, and then dishes are available to pick up in allocated weekend slots between 12pm – 4pm.
