can you not enjoy a meal when Paul is sitting across the table from you? We mean seriously, looking at St Pauls throughout dinner is always gonna impress and that’s exactly who you get as a dinner date at The Tate’s 6th floor restaurant.

What’s more there’s now a menu created with produce from Young British Foodies (YBF) past and present served every Friday and Saturday night – even more of a reason to visit! We popped down to check out the new menu and were impressed by dishes such as the Confit and grilled Welsh lamb belly, Quinoa, Yoghurt, barbequed cucumber with mint and Anglesey sea salt, pan cooked fillet of Atlantic cod, sautéed chorizo fresco, paprika dusted baby fennel, collar bacon crisp and mango and black mustard seed comfit. And, given the location and views it’s pretty good value too – £47.50 for cocktail, three courses, bread and coffee.

The takeover runs every Friday and Saturday night until 7th December, so get down there pronto if you want to try it. Booking is essential!
