With Wolf Alice’s debut album set for release in just a little under a week’s time (June 22), the four-piece have gifted us a delightful pre-launch teaser – a stream of brand new track, ‘You’re A Germ’.

True to their form to date, it’s a noisy tale of naivety and nuisance all wrapped up in their gritty, grunge-lite sound. Reminds us of early Placebo combined with the lyrical story-telling of a young Jarvis Cocker. The song’s ‘it’s so-catchy-it’s-nearly-a-bit-cheesy’ chorus, pushes Ellie Rowsell’s usually sweetly pristine vocals into a snarky and vicious snarl that suggests the band might be heading in an edgier, punkier direction on their first full length release.
