Oh yeah, and the food? BIG TICK.

We began with a huge portion of smoked wild salmon and a bowl full of the chipotle chicken wings smothered in smoked maple syrup, devouring the lot like we hadn’t eaten in days.

Our next course was full on meat feast fantastic. We ordered the fillet steak- cooked exactly as requested- and the half chicken that was definitely a big fella’ in it’s earlier life cos it was ginormous. Both so good they’d be sure to turn a vegetarian to the dark side. Teamed with some buttered up broccoli, beef dripping chunky chips and a mixture of cauliflower and pomegranate. We polished things off with the creme de la creme of desserts: the smashed banoffee and apple & cinnamon pie with custard.

Food babies well and truly swelling, we finished off with a tour of the place, which is A-MAZE-ING. No really, it’s a maze. Head upstairs and we guarantee you’ll get lost, decide to give up looking for the way out and take refuge at one of the bars, let”s face it you’ll get chucked out eventually.
