is a new joint in Dalston town and it goes by the name of Voodoo Rays. The brand spanking new laid-back pizza joint opened last month and serves top notch pizzas by the slice – NYC eat your heart out. The pizzas come in 14 flavours and are thin and crispy with a whole load of topping. We were impressed by the Green and White; Ricotta, spinach, pine nuts, grana padano, mozzarella and the Honolulu (needs no explanation) but our favourite was the Porky’s; Cumberland sausage, stilton, red onion, flat leaf parsley, tomato sauce, mozzarella – banging!

The pizzas come in at £4.20 and under for a slice or you can purchase the whole thing but be warned they are a wopping 22 inches. Voodoo Rays is open until 4am and they serve plenty of beer, cocktails and frozen margaritas and we also hear rumours of a secret basement – well this is East London. It looks like Dalston has finally gone and got itself a good pizza joint, hooray for that.
