of Homerton’s best loved pubs, The Plough, recently turned two and to celebrate they launched a brand new weekend Brunch menu featuring a host of classic dishes and hair of the dog cocktails. The star of the show is The Full English which wades in with poached or fried egg, black pudding, chipolata sausages, smokey bacon, sautéed chestnut mushroom, beans, grilled tomato and sough dough toast. There’s also a veggie option which packs a similar punch only with rolled haggis patty and kale.

Looking for something lighter? Then there’s the bacon and avocado bap, homemade granola and waffles. Whilst drinks include the usual Mimosas and Bloody Mary and the unusual Bloody Caesar (using mescal), and Bloody Brute (using chilli infused bourbon, smoked paprika and red wine). Coffee comes from local Homerton roasters, Dark Arts as is a beaut. Go on, plough through all of it…
