Burger has took up residency at The Old Queens Head on Essex Road, it’s menu boasts the Pig Salad Burger for the next two weeks. Limited to 15 serves per day you can understand why…the Tyson of burgers should come tattooed, it’s basically harder than a coffin nail.

Not one to turn down a challenge we took this on…blow for blow with Tyson himself! Crispy pig’s ear, confit sage pork belly, smoked streaky bacon, brambly apple jelly, chorizo aioli, butter lettuce, cheerer cheese, brawn crubeen, demi brioche bun and pigs tail crackling…this had us on the ropes alright. It is one hell of a taste sensation and is intensely satisfying. Burger lovers need this ticked off the list. Banging!
