Hoxton Hotel sits on Great Eastern Street, right in the heart of Shoreditch. We arrived on a Friday night when the hotel was bustling with life and you could feel the weekend atmosphere in the air. The Hoxton is a real party hotel, the perfect place to stay if your looking for an exciting weekend in one of the best neighbourhoods in the city.

We managed to bag one of the newly designed rooms on the sixth floor. The room designed by Suzy Hoodless is industrial chic with mock concrete walls, black tiled bathroom and a big comfy bed.

The fridge is stocked with free milk and water and there are plenty of tea and coffee to knock yourself up a cuppa as well as wine glasses and bottle opener should you fancy bringing your own wine. A nice touch as most hotels don’t include these to encourage purchases from their own bar.

The Hoxton’s ethos is ‘Luxury where it matters, Budget where it counts’ and if you book far enough in advance you can grab yourself a real bargain! A lite breakfast from Pret is included in the room rate but should you want a full English, the restaurant downstairs serves up a cracking bacon sarnie.

So if your looking for a cheap hotel but don’t want to forgo a bit of luxury, you can’t go wrong with The Hoxton Hotel.
