the darker nights setting in London becomes far more pretty. The lights and skyline giving different perspectives from all over the city. St Paul’s is a pretty special place to be around on a cold evening…it gets a bit…romantic!

We ventured over to The Happenstance right in the heart of the City, featuring floor to ceiling windows framing the views of St Pauls. The menu doesn’t take itself too seriously and there are twists on classic pub grub dishes.

We started with Bloody Mary mussels along with Prawn lollipops and the addictive sweet chilli & soy dip. For mains we went for Reef & Beef, half a lobster, steak & chips – plenty to keep us happy!

Dining Room

Feeling a little crazy we opted for the mini pudding shots for dessert which were made up of chocolate brownie, wagon wheel & crumble. Though WOWZA…mini pudding shots they are not, they are huge! If you’ve a sweet tooth and can eat dessert like ‘all day’ then this is for you.

Good for a date night or just to scoff three not so mini puds. Get involved.
