week we discovered the Texas Joe’s BBQ menu on offer at Brewdog Shoreditch and now, it’s fair to say, we’re pretty gutted we’ve only just discovered it…

Brewdog Shoreditch is located on Bethnal Green Road, set over two floors it serves a selection of Brewdog beers throughout. Downstairs, through the secret door is Underdog, a basement drinking den which offers something a little different with a small menu of beer cocktails. Our favourite was the Toussaints Tipple with bourbon, coffee and stout – their version of an espresso martini and equally as good.

The food menu presents everything a Texan BBQ joint should have with massive, meaty portions. A juicy chilli cheese burger with jalapeños mixed into the patty was a big hitter whilst chilli cheese fries were smothered in rich, meaty sauce. Deep fried jalapenos wrapped in bacon and filled with cream cheese spiced things up a notch whilst a chilli-dog left us dripping down our front. Oh it’s good s**t alright!
