Liverpool St Station you will find the Great British Cafe that is Polo Bar, having been there since 1953 you can’t have failed to walk past it at some point. However, this cafe bar has recently undergone a refurbishment bringing it right up to 2014. Famous for their none stop service, the doors are always open for food around the clock – that’s right it’s 24 hours baby.

We popped along to tackle their breakfast menu which caters for the greasy spoon types, health freaks and veggies among us. The traditional Full English doesn’t disappoint, it’s pretty big and comes in at £9.25 with all the usual suspects. The blueberry and banana smoothie rocks along with the freshly squeezed orange, teas and coffees.

It’s not just breakfast here though, there’s plenty of other comfort grub from burgers and cottage pie to puds and cakes Polo Bar have got it covered. Over 60 years in the game, get involved.
