Dish went from pop-up to perm earlier this year opening its first restaurant in Hoxton Square following a success run at the Citroen Garage. Now there’s another addition only this one’s a bit more central, located slap bang in Covent Garden.

The new restaurant shares the Pips Dish ethos, no menu and dishes are made from whatever ingredients are available on the day. We went along for dinner, inside it’s pretty simple but cosy with sharing tables – the highlight is definitely the little shed outside which can be booked for up to 8 people.

The food is sll locally sourced, on the day we dined we enjoyed a warm roast beetroot salad with a cucumber dip and some fresh bread. Mains were fresh fish with a root coleslaw – we forget which fish but forgive us there was no menu…

Definitely worth a visit for some fresh, tasty grub – who knows what you’ll get!
