REVIEW : NO.20 THE SANCTUM SOHO…

No. 20 restaurant is located on the ground floor of the ‘rock n roll’ Sanctum hotel in the heart of Soho. The restaurant décor is uber glitzy due to the fact it’s also a successful evening dining destination. Photographs of celebs such as Jagger, Moss and Gallagher at various parties and clubs line the gold walls. Up with the sun LondOntheInside made their way to sample the brand spanking new breakfast menu this week.

plate of fresh strawberries, pineapple, watermelon and grapes were presented on the table along with a box of warm pastries. Two coffees later our breakfasts arrived. Introducing The Sanctum English: Eggs of your choice, dry cured bacon, pork sausage, black pudding, mushroom, tomato and hash browns. I know what you are thinking, where are the beans and as die hard bean fans we can confirm that we didn’t even notice they were missing at the time, only when we looked at the photographs. Winner!

Fresh orange came in thick glasses that Don Drapper would be proud of and the atmosphere was relaxed and informal – a great place for a breakfast meeting. The whole shebang weighs in at £21 per person or £14.50 for the Sanctum English.

We’d advise the full lot and whilst you’re at it, book yourself a room upstairs you’ll need it to sleep off the food.
